Wine whisperer Stuart Pym has crafted this pure Cabernet Sauvignon loaded with dusty red cherry and blueberry flavours that hit all the right notes.

This Cabernet Merlot exhibits ripe cassis, dark chocolate and licorice aromas. High notes of cedary oak and bay leaf add further complexity. The palate unfolds in a myriad of layers of ripe blackcurrant and red fruit interwoven with savoury oak. The long and flavoursome finish is well supported by dry and fine grained tannins.

Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are sourced from several select vineyard sites located in the Wilyabrup sub region and north to Wildwood Rd in an endeavour to capture ripe fruit flavours, supple tannins and the distinctive perfume of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon. A deep and inviting black cherry colour with floral notes of violets and fruity, doughy aromas of just baked blackberry muffins. The palate is soft, inviting, and full of free range forest fruits, vanilla, cocoa and loads of supple, fine tannin. Such a pleasure to drink now but with ample ripe tannin structure to allow for aging up to 5 years.

Miles from Nowhere source grapes from precious little pockets of exceptional land and vineyards to showcase the uniqueness of the Margaret River region. This mouth filling Cabernet is made to be savoured and boasts ripe dark plums and sweet blackberries balanced with nutmeg and vanilla spice.

The juicy grapes used to produce Best Blocks Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested, and crushed into stainless steel fermenters. The juice obtained was pumped over and left on skins. This deep red-hued Cabernet Sauvignon showcases a brick red haze. The aromatic nose flaunts pleasing scents of ripe berries and dry herbs such as aniseed and sage. These fragrances make way for a rich and soft palate filled with concentrated fruit flavours and balanced tannins. This full-bodied Cab Sauv ends in an elegant, yet powerful and long finish. Made for consumption upon release, this mouth watering red wine has the potential to be cellared for six years. It tastes fantastic with mustard and herb crusted rack of lamb, served with sautéed vegetables.

Always regarded as one of Margaret River's favourite wineries due to the inherant quality. Forester Estate seems to marry beautifully with their value-for-money philosophy. This Cabernet Merlot continues to win wide acclaim due to its dark purple colour and its lifted aromas of raspberries and black forest cake. Rich berry flavours are well balanced by a tight tannin structure typical of quality Margaret River Cabernets. Moss Wood Moss Wood Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River Moss Wood is one of the Margaret River originals (planted 1969; first vintage 1973) and this iconic flagship wine Langtons Classified since 1990 has long been Western Australias leading Cabernet Sauvignon. Figures from the cellarage company Wine Ark show that it consistently rates as Australias Most Collected Cabernet. Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon is intensely perfumed and finely structured with cassis-blackcurrant aromas, hints of cedar and touches of violet. The oak and fruit are neatly balanced. With proven ageing potential the wine develops subtle earth/demi-glace briar characters on the bouquet, and complexity and suppleness on the palate. The unirrigated and widely spaced vineyard (now 14.86-hectares) is planted on gentle north-east facing slopes with sandy loams to a gravelly red/brown loams over clay. Typically the fruit is hand-picked, de-stemmed into open tanks and hand-plunged four times a day until completion of fermentation. At the end of vinification, the wine is allowed to macerate for around 10 to 14 days prior to pressing off into barrel. The wine is matured in 30% new and seasoned French oak barriques for 24 months.
