Ripe and intensely flavoured fruit was matured in fine grained oak barrels before extended maturation to create a mouth-puckering combination of bay leaf, dark cherry and white pepper flavours framed by toasty oak.

Yarra Trail Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 shows intense red berries, blackberry, red current and liquorice with sage herbal notes and fine oak aromas from 18 months maturation in French and American Oak. The palate is rich and concentrated with dark berry fruit, black cherry, chocolate and carob brought to the fore with delicate oak spiciness. Plush tannins build on the palate to provide length. Hand plunged in open fermenters providing a medium body, luxurious structure.
Wolf Blass Gold Label Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2013 vintage of Wolf Blass Gold Label Cabernet is medium bodied and softly textured. After being carefully cellared, the wine shows intense aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry and chocolate interwoven with delicate cedary oak. Lingering flavours are focused by dusty fine tannins and balanced acidity.
