Penfolds Bin 311 Chardonnay

Since the early 90's, Penfolds have been producing Chardonnay from the cool climate region of Tumbarumba. The Chardonnay is elegant with white florals, stone fruits and a great acidity structure. Maturation in French Oak gives the Bin 311 a subtle nutty savoury flavour through and through. A great all season wine for all sorts of occasions.

Tumblong Hills Tumbarumba Chardonnay

Grown in the Maragle Valley deep in the NSW Snowy Mountains, south-east of the township of Tumbarumba, the Maragle Valley is a sheltered valley environment, with suitably warm-ripening days and cold nights. Grapes are handpicked, whole-bunch pressed and with minimal settling, fermented in both medium-toast French oak barriques and stainless-steel fermenters. Matured for 6-months in oak with bi-weekly stirring of yeast lees sediments to improve texture. As fruit freshness is desired, MLF is not encouraged.

Eden Road The Long Road Chardonnay

Both finesse and intensity are balanced... The Enden Road Chardonnay displays pristine aromas of citrus blossom, white peach and grapefruit along with a subtle element of spices on the nose. The natural acidity is seamless and smooth. The palate is generous and textural yet finishes with great length.

McW Tumbarumba Chardonnay has flavours of bright citrus and white nectarine with gunflint and biscuity oak. A focused and linear palate, richly textured with flinty acidity. Creamy grilled cashew nut is matched with depth of citrus fruit flavour and drive, completed by a long seamless finish.

Nick Spencer Tumbarumba Chardonnay

Nick Spencer describes this drop as "Tumbarumba in a bottle". A great example of the region's chardonnay, Nick believes that the 2018 vintage has produced some of the best fruit he has seen in the past decade. Vibrant green apple and white peach aromas linger on the nose, with slight crushed rock notes. Beautifully restrained power in the palate, subtle complexity and a devine length. Smashing drop!The fruit comes from Tumbarumba. Nick has made Chardonnay from this region for a decade now, he believes that the vintage has produced some of the best fruit he has seen. This doesn't have the flashy oak and sulphide aspects which often characterised his critically acclaimed Chardonnays at Eden Road, this is a gentler, more streamlined version of the variety which showcases the purity of fruit from this cool nsw region.

Clonakilla Chardonnay

Clonakilla is an Australian winery located in the Canberra wine region of Murrumbateman, New South Wales. The winery was founded by Dr. John Kirk AM, an Irish biochemist who immigrated to Australia from the United Kingdom in 1968 to work as a research scientist at the CSIRO. The first vintage from the region was produced in 1976, and Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier has since become one of the most iconic Australian wines. The Shiraz Viognier blend was first introduced by Clonakilla in 1992, inspired by Tim Kirk's visit to the Rhône Valley in France. The wine is a blend of Shiraz and Viognier grapes, with the Viognier adding a floral and aromatic complexity to the wine.
