Giaconda Chardonnay

Giaconda is rightfully considered one of Australia's premier Chardonnay producers and is sought after by wine lovers and collectors the world over. This release is proof yet again of Rick Kinzbrunner's skills. Colours of bright gold; on the nose stone fruit and hints of earthen spice. Flavours of nutmeg, spice and stonefruit greet the mouth with lingering acidity. This great white wine is still extremely youthful and will cellar very nicely for over 10 years

Domaine Michelot 1er cru

This wine is made from two parcels which are found on the border of the communes of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. The first, which is to the left of the Clos des Perrières, has clay/limestone soil and a subsoil of volcanic rock which allows a healthy root system to develop in this limestone-rich environment. The second is on the upper slope and overlooks the Perrières quarry. Here the soil is heavily limestone, partly as marl and partly as white rock. This is interesting for the way it brings mineral notes to the wine. During tastings it often find notes of white pepper and other spices both on the nose and on the palate.

DOMAINE FRANCOIS CARILLON

DOMAINE FRANCOIS CARILLON, Puligny-Montrachet Domaine Francois Carillon is the legacy of the Carillon family that has been growing grapes in the Puligny-Montrachet region since the 16th century. Langton's has been dealing with Francois since he established his own label in 2010 and we're proud of how this relationship has grown. His wines, reflecting his heritage and passion, rub shoulders with those Grand Cru and 1er Cru wine from Puligny-Montrachet and have garnered acclaim at the highest levels. I cannot think of any Burgundian grower more energetic than François Carillon Jancis Robinson MW
