This 2012 vintage Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from Robert Stein Vineyard brilliantly expresses the characteristics of the 37-year-old vineyard site. The fruit was carefully handpicked and pressed, followed by fermentation in open vats along with gentle hand plunging. Exhibiting a deep red hue and giving off dark berry aromas from the nose, the textural and medium-bodied palate is a delight to consume. This elegant red wine has a cellaring potential of about 15 years, and it is recommended that one decants this wine before serving it. Suggested food matches with this red wine include Beef Tenderloin, meatballs, venison and lamb ribs.

Bunnamagoo Estate Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted from grapes grown on our Eurunderee vineyard near Mudgee, NSW. With attractive and ripe red fruit characters, the aroma displays subtle leafy hints in a nod to the variety. A warm, dry vintage in 2018 allowed the vines to thrive and has produced a wine dense and dark purple in colour. Expect leafy and tomato bush characters on the palate with generous yet soft tannins in this medium-bodied wine. Aged in French and American oak barrels producing a versatile drop to be enjoyed both now and as it matures.

On the palate, dark, rich berries with olive and mild pepper can be noted, accompanied with a balanced structure and supple tannins. Full-bodied with an aromatic display of clove, nutmeg, and smoky oak. Aromas of sweet redcurrants lovely rich palate, which has drying wood tannins and some lovely soft acid.

The nose shows complex savoury, earthy, bramble aromas with lifted American oak. The palate is medium bodied with bright red currant and hints of spice and blackberry.
