The fruit for this Riesling was grown on a vineyard in the Orange region, which is situated 1000m above sea level. In the glass: Pale lemon straw.On the nose: Pure lime lift with a touch of honeysuckle. On the palate: Intense and pure with a zesty core of lemon and lime, a quinine-like mouth-feel and long crisp acidity on to the almost chalky finish. Retrained yet powerful.

The Ridge of Tears Orange Riesling has a perfume of orange blossom, lime leaf, lavender, mandarin peel and wet stone. The sleek palate has a seamless flow with flavours of lime cordial, red apple and ginger before a bright, long finish.

The wine is pale gold in colour with youthful, green hues. The bouquet is elegant and intense with smoky citrus lime and floral varietal characters.The palate shows youthful intense varietal floral Riesling fruit characters filling the length of the palate balanced with a long crisp clean acid finish. There is also a hint of smokiness and lime characteristics, a full middle palate and a touch of alcohol sweetness on the finish. While extremely enjoyable now, the history of this wine shows it will gain further complexity and depth of flavour over the next 4 - 10 years. The wine is crisp and sophisticated and may be served alone or with fine cuisine such as white meat fish yabbies or seafood.

Colour: Vibrant light straw with tinges of pale green.Nose: Aromatic citrus blossom and floral perfume notes.Palate: Natural balance and harmony punctuated by a subtle floral perfume between acidity and sweetness. Intense lime and mineral flavours add great length to the wine and the lower alcohol of 8.5% entices a second glass.

Appearance Deep straw. Aroma Obvious fruits are peaches and melons, there is an evident depth in the aroma and some vanilla notes. Palate Generous and round fruits, carried by elegant and restrained oak. There is a refreshing crispness to the finish which draws you back for more.

Single Block Chardonnay with significant character and individuality. Small batch wine making with subtle use of new French oak, careful maturation and constant attention to detail resulted in a wine of great complexity and finesse. Citrus and stone fruit characters of real clarity. Delightful weight and discernible oak with a clean finish of substantial length.

Fresh yellow Nectarine fruits and sublt e french oak on the nose. A big mouthful of flavour. Supple & creamy with lush fruits & a gentle buttery finish on the palate.
