The Limestone Coast was under the sea for over 25 million years. Fast-forward one million years, the region rose out of the sea and fossils helped form the prized red soils (‘terra rossa’) for which the Limestone Coast is famous. This Chancellor & Co Cabernet Merlot is a dry red wine with bags of flavour. Soft on the palate with a balanced profile, this red boasts elements of plums and blackcurrant with a subtle texture for a smoother mouthfeel.

Barokes Cabernet Shiraz Bin 121 displays red and crimson colours. A rich mouth feel is provided by the shiraz, with a firm finish of the cabernet. There are ripe aromas on the nose with a subtle hint of oak.

The Berton Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from the Metal Labels collection is deep in colour and violet hues, intense aromas of red berry fruits, sweet blueberry jam and a gentle touch of vanilla delivers from the oak treatment. On the palate, subtle fine tannins blend gracefully with the distinct flavours black currant, smoky liquorice and well-integrated oak.

One of our absolute favourites, our Cabernet Sauvignon is matured in oak casks for that light vanillin oak finish. Its a lively red with a smooth finish, presenting fine velvety tannins and an intense blackcurrant jam flavour on the palate. Despite its complexity it is a great easy-drinking red, but we recommend it paired with hearty, meaty dishes such as a lasagne, steak or a cheese platter.
