One Man's Journey Riesling

Where does one man's journey start in having a passion for the Riesling grape? Where does one man's journey start to craft bottle after bottle of Riesling? It starts with the man's father. Sam Wigan was born into Riesling royalty. His father's love affair with Riesling stretched 40 years as a winemaker, including winning the Riesling Trophy at the International Wine and Spirit Competition 6 times. Sam inherited his father's passion for Riesling and has spent vintage after vintage honing his craft. In Sam's words "This Eden Valley Riesling speaks strongly of place with lime, jasmine and Meyer lemon aromas. Flavours of zesty lime and juicy green apple fill the mouth, finishing clean, fresh & dry". Try Sam's riesling with freshly shucked oysters. Vegetarian & vegan friendly.

Heirloom Vineyards Eden Valley Riesling

"Eden Valley riesling as quintessential as it could be. Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, honeysuckle and beeswax. Characteristically, it's still a little stern on the palate. It tastes of the place it's from. The citrus flavours are muted, but the underlying depth is evident, the slatey acidity guiding it along. Secure under screwcap, it feels as though in a cool cellar it could live forever." 95 points, James Halliday Wine Companion, August 2017.
