Jeff Grosset's six hectare vineyard produces a wine full of ethereal aromatics, fragrant lemongrass and freshly squeezed lime. This single vineyard wine from the historic Koonowla property at Auburn has been made in the classic Clare Valley style, so while approachable now, it has excellent celllaring potential. On the palate: Developing well with a strong core of lemon sherbet, lime and stonefruit, river stone-like minerality, attractive spice notes and a touch of musk to finish.
