Barossa Wine Company Farms Shiraz

Senior winemaker Jamie Saint, pursues his passion for the wines of the Barossa through the Barossa Valley Wine Company. He crafts wines of sophistication, each with the perfect balance of elegance, power and grace. Farms is iconic Barossa at its best, a mark if respect to those that have carved out our regions reputation, and a nod to those yet to come. An intense nose of blackberry, black olive, liquorice and cigar box characters leads to a powerful palate of rich blackberry, olive tapenade and vanillin spice with dense, powerful and grippy tannins. Fermented for 7 10 days in traditional open top fermenters the wine undergoes malo-lactic fermentation in French and American hogsheads followed by twenty months oak maturation. Enjoy now or will reward careful cellaring for 10+ years.

Head The Brunette Shiraz

Colour is deep red. The nose shows aniseed, tar, FruChocs and spicy oak. The fine palate entry has mulberry, cranberry, aniseed and liquorice flowing delicately with Rhone-like spicy, chewy, savoury tannins.

Penfolds Bin 150 Shiraz

Introducing the Penfolds 2018 Collection. A family of fine wines, each with a distinct character, quality and provenance. A testament to the enduring House Style and winemaking philosophy that Penfolds has proudly upheld since 1844. Bin 150 Shiraz is a sub-regional expression that is unmistakably Penfolds in character. Standing on its own two feet, this release delivers a contemporary Shiraz alternative, framed by a mix of oaks; French and American, old and new - crafted in accordance with the traditional Penfolds method.

GIBSON Australian Old Vine Collection Shiraz

Gibson Australian Old Vine Collection Shiraz, Barossa Made with vines from the Barossa Old Vine Charter, winemaker Rob Gibsons Australian Old Vine Collection project has produced wines of integrity and excellence. Aiming to vinify grapes from original Centenarian and Ancestor vines, the wine is low in production but high in quality and accolades. The Old Vine Barossa Shiraz was an inaugural recipient of the Barossa Trust Mark.

Torbreck The Struie Shiraz

The Shiraz grapes for The Struie come from old vines in the Barossa and Eden Valleys. The Eden component brings floral spicy aromas that are supported by more brooding notes of tar and chocolate from the Barossa. The palate is luscious and silky, and this is a Fine Wine favourite.

Yalumba Signature Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz

Almost blood red, this is a Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz in motion, changing and shifting from red scents of currants and cranberries to the black fruits of plum compote and black cherries, before a touch of cedar, leafy herbs and powdery black spices freshen the finish. The wine has a coolness that belies its power. The expression is as restrained as it is muscular. Richly layered, the fruit completes the structure. Underneath theres an umami earthiness, like scents of camping in the woods. Impeccably balanced. Savour with a rosemary pepper beef rib roast with porcini jus.

Barossa Old Vine Co Shiraz

Crafted from grapes sourced from only the old and gnarled vines from some of the Barossa Valley's most historic sites, this wine demonstrates the living history inherited from this region's forefathers and their legacy for quality. Deepening amber in colour with tints of ruby. There are enticing aromas of dark chocolate and warming spice leading to a luscious palate of concentrated dark forest berry fruits derived from old Barossa vines - layered with complexity of spice from time spent maturing in oak barrels, silky tannins and a long finish.

Langmeil Orphan Bank Shiraz

Full bodied yet velvety texture with plums and raspberries dominating. Hints of sweet spice, black olive pepper add to the complexity.
