Tim Smith Barossa Shiraz

Winton Road Single Vineyard Shiraz

A lovely deep colour with aromas of lavender, violet, blackberries and a savoury, game quality. The palate balances a rich core with vibrant acidity which gives both power and precision to the mouthfeel. The tannins are gentle and ashen, and the black fruits, warm pepper and delicate barrel spice are all present throughout the long and elegant finish of the wine. The fruit for the Single Vineyard Shiraz comes from the Marananga vineyard located halfway between the townships of Tanunda and Greenock. The vines range in age from fifteen to one hundred and twenty-six years old. The Marananga soils are predominantly red-yellow loams over red clay, which produce powerful, yet precise wines. Ageing takes place in French oak barriques for fifteen months with twenty-five percent of the oak being used for the first time.

Penfolds Bin 138 Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre

Bin 138 draws its inspiration from the wines of Southern Rhône in France, where shiraz, grenache and mataro (mourvèdre) are blended in varying proportions to create full-bodied wines possessing rich and heady perfume. The nose of the 2017 vintage is comfortably embedded in the savoury spectrum with scents of charcuterie cold meats and a balsamic reduction, while fresh fruits elude with air. Earthy Barossa elements on the palate, coupled with savoury red meats

Peter Lehmann Portrait Shiraz

Peter Lehmann Shiraz is always a reliable Barossa Shiraz. The nose offers lashings of dark plum with an underlay of dusted chocolate and the palate is brimming with rich fruit flavours restrained by soft fine grained tannins.

Saltram 1859 Barossa Shiraz

The palate is rich with an excellent balance of fruit flavours, subtle tannins and a soft, silky finish. We invite you to explore the Saltram winemaking tradition, crafted over 150 years, and exemplified today by their wines. This Barossa shiraz delivers lovely drinking right now. The makers used more stainless steel than oak in its production, thus capturing the vibrant, fleshy fruit flavours of the vintage. Soft tannins add to the fleshy texture and drink-now appeal.

Two Churches Barossa Shiraz
