He took the name from one of the original vineyards, which runs next to the small Bethany Church (Est 1854) across the road from Wirra Wirras century old ironstone cellars. Over four decades, the Church Block label has become an Australian favourite. Gold Medal | 2016 Sélections Mondiales des Vins Canada Wine Competition.

Bleeding Heart Cabernet Sauvignon

Bleeding Heart Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted by the fusion of 8% Shiraz and 92% Cabernet grapes. These grapes were chilled, destemmed and then cold soaked. This led to the creation of a deep ruby red coloured wine. The vibrant bouquet exudes mesmerising aromas of currant and blackberry, with bramble and savoury oak hints lurking in the background. The plush palate is rife with ripe plum and dark berry flavours, supported by fine tannins. This delicious Cab Sauv ends in a long and structured finish. Drink this mouth-watering red wine with slow roasted lamb shoulder and seasonal roast vegetables to relish its wonderful flavours.
