Aged 15 months in American and French hogsheads, Montara Grampians Shiraz is a rich, elegant Shiraz with sweet floral red fruits, loads of pepper and spice and savoury characters. It is mid-weight with lovely soft gravelly tannins and finishes long onto the palate. Perfect as a match to roast beef, coq au vin or pheasant.

The Cliff Edge Shiraz by Mount Langi Ghiran is now reaping the rewards of vine age. Generally a younger vine Shiraz as compared to the Langi Shiraz, these vines are now starting to come into their own. Attractive spearmint and blackberry flavours are complimented by exceptional balance of acid and oak. A great Grampians bargain.

Lifted aromatics of ripened red fruit impress immediately. There's a savoury edge, too, and some vanilla/cedar. The colour is holding well - ruby and mid-weight. Bright, and slightly piquant cherry and cranberry notes combine with juicy red currant, a hint of pepper-spice and fine earth tannins, resulting in yet another good Billi Billi. Now is the right time to drink it. There's sufficient acid and flavour to see it through for another couple of years if you aren't in a hurry.

Spicy, medium-full bodied Shiraz ready for drinking now! The palate is rich and lingering with soft round tannins and lively succulent fruit. The fruit on the palate is dense and rich and amazingly balanced with the soft oak and mature tannins. This wine will easily age for the next 7-10 years although is soft enough to be enjoyed now if the moment grabs you.
