The palate will take you through bright, bold red fruit flavours fuelled by mouth-watering acidity. A great lasting finish with fine tannins. Smashable. The Gundagai Red is Nick's attempt to bring that old blended philosophy into the modern day. It's a wine that shows ripe blue fruit characters, a vibrant nose of violets and spice and silky decadent tannins which should see it mature nicely over the medium-long term.

This shiraz is made without that addition of preservatives or additives and expresses a vibrant, approachable style.

Deep magenta in colour. Beautifully ripe, red fruit aromas coalesce in a generous and wonderful regional signature. Plum, cherry and raspberry fruit flavours occupy centre stage, while French oak influence provides further depth of flavour and supportive length.

Medium bodied wine with red berry and juicy raspberry flavours, a hint of pepper and sleek tannins give the wine a smooth finish, with a good length and mouth feel. Cellared for over eighteen months in oak, making it a premium Cottontail offering. Well suited to being consumed with BBQ steak, roast meat and game.

Our healthy soils have created a full bodied, smooth and balanced flavour that lingers and enhances the complex berry fruit flavours. The refreshing crisp is warm and not too spicy. Deep purple and rich characters of blackberry & raspberry with a hint of liquorice and plum.

In the glass: Dense red black.On the nose: Black cherry with strong anise hints, black pepper and braised meats.On the palate: Porty-ripe black fruits with hints of jubey sweetness, iodine and liquorice power, velvety tannins and a sweet finish.

Pepper and spice in abundance, over dark cherry/berry fruits. There's a lovely graphite mineral note here too. The palate is medium-bodied and well balanced, finding a natural line of fruit and spice. Viticulture: Hand selected fruit sourced from five clones planted to various aspects, elevations and soil types. Yields were small but flavours were both concentrated and captivating. Winemaking: The fruit was cold soaked for 5 days before being inoculated in open fermenters. The wine was fermented gradually over 12 days then matured in French Puncheons and Hogsheads (25% new) for 12 months.
