Deep crimson in colour with aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry, and graphite, layered with hints of cedar and tobacco. The palate is powerful yet refined, showing concentrated black fruit, fine-grained tannins, and balanced acidity. Long, elegant finish with notes of dark chocolate and subtle spice, promising excellent cellaring potential.

The Vat 8 consists of a majority Hunter Valley Shiraz the lends beauty, flavour and ripeness and a small parcel of Hilltops Cabernet which supports the Shiraz with power and structure. Elegant and pristine early, this is a wine that will enjoy some time in the cellar to further develop it already obvious complexity.

Château Lafleur is a tiny 4.5-hectare Pomerol property located opposite Pétrus and producing wines of comparable quality. It is owned and run by Sylvie and Jacques Guinadeau. While the majority of great Bordeaux châteaux have changed hands over the past several generations, Château Lafleur remains in the same family hands to this day. Its vineyards are situated on the gravel-rich Pomerol plateau and adjoin those of La Fleur-Pétrus. The soils here are particularly deep and are enriched by deposits of potassium and iron. Only natural fertilisers are used and yields are painfully low, even by Pomerol standards. Lafleur's wine is typically a blend of Merlot (50%) and Cabernet Franc (50%). It is aged in small oak barrels (50% new) for 18 months. Wines from Lafleur display a spectacularly intense perfume (partly attributable to the high percentage of Cabernet Franc in the blend) and display layers and layers of concentrated, black fruits, minerals, tobacco spices and creamy liquorice on the palate. The best vintages can last for up to 50 years.

Deep red color. The nose is complex with red fruits and figs, followed by aromas of blackcurrant. On the palate, the wine is round with soft tannins, displaying generous aromas of blueberry and blackberry. Well balanced, with a good persistence on the finish.

Dense crimson‑garnet hue leads into aromas of black cherry and bramble fruit layered with sandalwood, peppercorn and a whisper of truffle. The palate is elegant yet powerful — ripe dark plums and cassis, framed by fine, chalky tannins and warm cedar oak, finishing long with forest‑floor depth and an echo of spice.

Bright plum in colour, Penfolds Bin 169 Cabernet Sauvignon displays delicate notes of mint and blackcurrant, with a more savory bouquet of semi-dried tomatoes and fruit chutney at the end. A hint of oak and spice adds extra warmth. On the palate a flavour-wheel of spearmint, milo powder, chocolate and black liquorice.

This single block Shiraz is crafted to the highest standards, utilising fruit from one of the Coonawarras most outstanding Shiraz vineyards. It epitomises the purity and elegance of cool climate Coonawarra Fruit for this wine comes entirely from Tim Kidmans vineyard; specifically blocks 1 and 2 which our winemaking team have selected for special treatment due to the exceptional quality. Maison Les Alexandrins is a collaboration between two renowned winegrowers from the Rhone Valley - Nicolas Jaboulet and Alexandre Caso. Their wines are crafted in a signature style that is at once contemporary and timeless, and always from exceptional vineyards unearthed by Alexandre Caso, a specialist in the terroirs of the Northern Rhone. The terroir of Hermitage is complex and varied, comprising granite (giving minerality and fine tannins), pebbles (for aromatic richness and complexity), and limestone (for finesse and elegance). These three complementary terroirs all play a role in the final blend. Superb intense dark-red colour with shiny reflections.
