Paul Jaboulet Gigondas

One of the best known producers of the Rhone Valley is Paul Jaboulet Aine. They produce an array of high quality wines from various appellations within the Rhone.The name of this wine comes from the craggy erosion-worn mountain that dominates the area. Gigondas wines provide some of the best value drinking in the whole of the Rhone. The wine is produced from 80% grenache, 10% syrah and 10% mourvedre grapes from vines which are 40 years of age. It exhibits notes of licorice, violets and black fruit on a concentrated, long and elegant palate.

The Explorers Single Vineyard Shiraz

A beautifully soft and supple shiraz displaying all the virtues of this variety. Aromas of plum laced with dark chocolate and roasted coffee bean. The palate comes together beautifully with the integration of fine-grained oak and silky fine tannins. A little blue fruit character edges in on the nose before moving into the palate.
