DEEP WOODS ESTATE Single Vineyard Chardonnay, Margaret River

This is a classic Wilyabrup Cabernet – but with a twist. Rather than crafting a cabernet with massive architecture, we wanted to table a wine that dispensed with a poignant tannic structure, yet still delivered on the beauty that is Cabernet from this region.

The Yard: the place where we break ground in single vineyard wines.Complex and full flavoured Sauvignon Blanc with lightly oaked charaters providing delicacy and richness. Lovely flavours of green pea, citrus and kiwi fruit building through the finish, great length.

All Cullen Wines are grown on a certified Biodynamic, Carbon Neutral and naturally powered estate. Grapes are harvested by hand on fruit and flower days according to the astrological calendar. The wines have no additions of yeast, acid or malolactic culture, and are in this sense natural wines which express the place and land on which they are grown, the vintage and the people.

Elegant flavours of dark cherry and star anise are supported by sweet tannins, the typical line and length of this variety enhanced by a fine backbone of cedary mocha oak.
