Each BACARDI flavoured rum achieves the right balance between the smooth, dry rum & intense, invigorating fruit flavour. Mount Gay Eclipse Rum is widely recognised as the oldest rum in the world. Eclipse has a brilliant golden amber colour and a luxuriously complex aroma. Aged in charred, American oak barrels for a minimum of two years, producing a rum with flavours of apricot, banana and vanilla. The barrel ageing gives the Rum a lightly smoked character and a long lasting finish. Eclipse has a warm, medium body with a bright finish. Its subtle smokiness is imparted by the toasted Kentucky oak barrels in which the rum is aged.
