Bordiga Occitan London Dry Gin
Gin was first made by Bordiga in 1889, and this gin is still made from the original recipe. In addition to orange and lemon peel, only four main botanicals are used, juniper, angelica, cardamom, and a secret ingredient the distillery harvests locally from the Occitan Alps. The juniper used grows wild in the Maritime Alps, some of the highest mountains in Europe. This combination of altitude and maritime influence enriches the essential oils of the juniper berries, lending a unique flavour. A classic juniper lift, with a fragrant nose cut with cardamom, distinct orange, and lemon rind notes. At once classic and distinctively individual, with the purity and intensity of the botanicals giving this gin remarkable cut and clarity. A great mixing gin, but also one with the detail and finesse to justify a martini.
Piave Grappa
Grappa (literally meaning Grape Stalk) is the Italian spirit that is produced from distilling the skins, seeds and stalks of grapes after making wine, not the juice its self. Piave is aromatic and warming, making it a great after-dinner drink.
Montenegro Amaro
Amaro Montenegro, 'the liqueur of the virtues', was created in 1885 thanks to the lengthy, impassioned experiments of a famous distiller and herbalist, Stanislao Cobianchi. The name Montenegro is a dedication to the beautiful princess Elena of Montenegro, who was engaged to Victor Emanuel III. In its over 100 years of history, Amaro Montenegro has seen its success grow continuously up to the present day, now being one of the leading brands on the Italian market. It can be enjoyed straight, with soda water and lemon rind, or hot, as well as in various combinations in modern cocktails.
Campari Negroni
Negroni is the ultimate gin cocktail and a classic thats made a huge comeback. The perfect drink to bring along to dinner parties or lunches, fortunately this is now even easier. Rather than lugging three bottles around you can now take just the one, Campari Negroni. Made in Milan using equal parts London dry gin, sweet vermouth and of course Campari. Simply serve over ice for a ready-made drink with a delicious bitter edge. Garnish with orange peel for that special touch.
