Mouton Cadet Select, is the result of the selection from the best parcels of highest terroirs across the Bordeaux region. Created in 1930, by Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Mouton Cadet has become a standard-setter for Bordeaux wines in France and rapidly overseas. The nose initially reveals black cherry, very ripe red fruit notes, hints of mocha and spice. From a supple and voluptuous attack on attractive fruit, the mid-palate displays powerful flavours with forward red fruit, leading into a long and spicy finish.

51% Touriga and 49% Tempranillo. Although both quite tannic varieties, winemaker Peter Leask has crafted a youthful yet surprisingly supple drop. Delicious!Deep red to crimson. A cheerful rosé, which plays everything on the card of ripe red fruits, plus good acidity and a little residual sugar, which perfectly balances the whole ensemble. The color is salmon pink, and the nose, intense, brings peaches, strawberries, and discreet mineral sensations. The body is ample, unctuous, with well-integrated alcohol. This Merlot is, without any doubt, a faithful representation of its variety. It´s complex, very spicy, and has refined and ripe tannins with balanced natural acidity. Aromas consists ofcassis and candied red berries with spiced notes.

Lifted red and black cherry notes, silky tannins and underlying oak influence balance this classic Coonawarra Merlot. Matured in new and seasoned french oak barrels enhancing the complexity of flavours. Drink now or will reward careful cellaring for up to 8 years.
