APPEARANCE: Pale cherry in colour. AROMA: Very distinctive in style, dominated by fruity (pomegranate) aromas which evolve towards notes of pepper and spice on the finish. PALATE: It is light yet with some good fruit flesh over racy acidity and fine, delicate tannins.

A cheerful rosé, which plays everything on the card of ripe red fruits, plus good acidity and a little residual sugar, which perfectly balances the whole ensemble. The color is salmon pink, and the nose, intense, brings peaches, strawberries, and discreet mineral sensations. The body is ample, unctuous, with well-integrated alcohol. 2019 Coffee Rock Merlot Black currant fruits, mocha and some cigar box aromas. Nice firm yet supple tannins which will soften with some cellar time. Estate grown on our coffee rock soils.

There is a feeling across Victoria region that 2013 may go down as the vintage of the decade. Low rainfall and plenty of heat from December onwards meant winemakers could obtain beautifully ripe fruit, which can be a challenge in parts of this cool region.
