Brightwater is from a tiny family estate our Buyer first visited in 2002, having noticed that famous Aussie wine writer James Halliday had reviewed their Sauvignon above Cloudy Bay. Their 2009 was also rated as 5 Stars by top Kiwi wine critic Bob Campbell MW. A classic match with goat's cheese, it's also just the ticket with seafood, especially oysters. A relatively new name but Dog Point's owners have years of experience in Marlborough and this label is much sought after. This release is beautifully textured rich and delicious.

This wine exhibits aromas of fresh citrus blossom, pineapple, passionfruit and hints of melon. This follows through to a weighty palate with Honeydew melon, grapefruit and nuances of lime zest. This wine has a natural weight and concentration that lingers on the palate before finishing with a crisp citrus twist.
