Grove Mill has been making wine with as much thought for the environment as wine excellence for over 30 years. A bouquet of intense and lifted tropical fruits and a very juicy and vibrant palate makes for a punchy and contemporary style of Wairau Valley Sauvignon Blanc.

Lovely fresh Riesling from the pioneering Seifried family estate, who set up in the super-sunny coastal region of Nelson in 1973 (way before most of Marlborough next door). In the 1970s Hermann Seifried, then a fresh-faced Austrian wine nut seeking adventure, travelled to New Zealand. It was a final stop-off on a world tour, mainly to see where the All Blacks came from. There he fell in love with a local primary school teacher, Agnes, and has never left. In 1973 the couple realised their shared dream – to plant a vineyard – and have since racked up a host of awards. Today their three children, Chris, Heidi and Anna, help run the property in Nelson – a region with over 2,400 hours of sunshine, it's the sunniest in New Zealand.

The Marlborough Sounds are a network of sea drowned valleys at the top of New Zealands South Island. This Organic Sauvignon Blanc is a pure expression of the pristine marine environment which inspires its name. It's made by an award-winning family winery, who were some of the first pioneers of the Marlborough region. Phil and Chris Rose founded the estate back in 1978, now their five children have joined them, so it's very much a family affair. Their Sunday Bay is a classic Sauvignon. Exuberant grapefruit and grassy nettle character with a bright citrus zip; all the usual Marlborough pizzazz and more. It’s very moreish solo or makes the perfect partner to all sorts of seafood, spicy stir-fry or Thai fish cakes.

The bouquet is pure and expressive showing vibrant passionfruit, tropical fruit and grapefruit aromas, with underlying blackcurrant leaf and herbal notes. The palate is concentrated and elegant, with fruit flavours that are consistent with the nose; grapefruit, mango and herbal. A lively acidity and mineral drive, provide the wine with exceptional concentration and length.

Look no further for classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc than Kim Crawford! Aromas of gooseberry jump from the glass and zesty flavours of nectarine and passionfruit are carried by crisp acidity. Surprisingly a great food style wine due to its unique complexity.

Wonderfully lifted aromatics of ripe pear and apples, underlying floral notes and a light clove spice. The palate is a ripe and rich cocktail of tree fruit flavours with a perfectly crisp finish.
