The aim for this blend was to achieve a balance of weight, immediacy, generosity and drinkability with subtle restraint. Enticing aromas of red berries, white pepper, Russian Caravan tea, porcini mushroom broth, musk stick, nutmeg, fennel, peat & herbal mutterings of stalks. The juicy palate evokes a red dark fruit balance redolent of red cherry & mulberry with a spice influence of sumac & tamarind paste. Dark chocolate and smoked paprika flavours combine to elongate the detailed palate. A fine acidity draws the palate long with talc-like tannins inlaid, building fruit weight to a resonant finish.
