St Hallett Old Block Shiraz, first vintage 1980, is a stalwart of the Barossa and a stalwart of Langton's Classification of Australian Wine. A blend of oldvine Shiraz (average age 90 years) from key sites in the Barossa and Eden Valleys, Old Block is one of Barossas finest.

Paringa Estate's The Paringa Shiraz is a multi-trophy winning wine that has been carefully selected from barrels prior to bottling due to the stand-out quality that was easily identifiable. Sourced from Lindsay McCall's estate, this Shiraz is almost eternal in flavour length and intensity. Flavours of plum, raspberry, redcurrant are accompanied by black pepper, anise and vanilla. Spicy cool climate Shiraz is fermented with whole bunches of a small portion of the white Viognier grape to produce this elegant style. Attractive floral notes of white flowers and peach blossom are enhanced by French oak and Rhone-like pepper and spice on the palate. Time in our cellaring programme has buffed the 2014 wine to a very smooth finish.

Aromatically it's extremely floral and spicy, while the palate is medium-to-full-bodied with layers of blackberry, plum, and spice, balanced by fresh acidity. It's just a beautifully poised and delicious, modern Yarra Syrah, and great from the get-go or in the cellar for up to a decade.

Oakridge 864 Block 1 Hazeldene Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024 exemplifies single-site expression from the upper reaches of the Yarra Valley. Sourced from north-facing vines planted in the red volcanic soils of Gladysdale, this wine is crafted with meticulous hand-picking, a touch of whole-bunch fermentation, and careful ageing in French oak. The nose is vibrant, with lifted florals, fresh red berries, boysenberry and mountain herbs, and hints of subtle carbonic complexity. On the palate, vivid raspberry and plum characters glide along a net of silky, elastic tannins, with succulent fruit and fine structure carrying through to impressive depth and length.
