Straw yellow colour with a persistent mousse. Fruity aromas, with golden apple and Kaiser pear in a pleasant citrus background. Slightly sweet, fresh and fruity. Of good length and balance.

Pale straw with light fine bubbles. A lifted bouquet of green apples, grapefruit with hints of pear and spring flowers. A spritzy yet soft palate of light green apple and citrus mousse, refreshing with a crisp acid finish. Prosciutto wrapped fresh melon.

This runner-up Prosecco is perfect with antipasto. Pale straw yellow in colour with lifted light nutty aromas of biscuit and cashew. A creamy palate and long finish.

Most Prosecco is uncomplicated and very approachable, and this juicy young-drinker is no exception. Pale gold in appearance. Lychee and musk aromas. Palate shows banana and rambutan sweetness, with hints of spun honey and spicy acid freshness. Quite sweetly fruited and easy-drinking.

Straw in colour with subtle green hues and a delicate nose displaying apple and pear characters. While this wine retains the freshness and vibrancy that Prosecco is known for, the fruit for this NV release was picked later to provide a softer, rounder palate full of crisp citrus notes. This refreshing sparkling is made to drink young while at its light and delicate best.

“A premium prosecco – why not? A drier prosecco than usual, bringing gravitas to the style, with a smarter, tighter line and length. No simple lemonade characters here, but rather some depth in aroma and flavour. Granny Smith apples, grapefruit, pear skin, preserved lemon. Zesty, bright on the palate but settles into a citrus-infused, lemon-tart line of flavour with a waxy mouthfeel. Definitely a step up in poise and elegance for the variety.” Jeni Port
