When Giuseppe and Pietro Simi immigrated to Northern California, they settled in Sonoma County because it reminded them of their native Tuscany where wine had been made for centuries. Forester Estate Chardonnay is a refreshing fruit-driven wine. Pale lemon green in colour with intense roasted nuts, honey, ripe peach and a hint of smoky oak with lingering MLF on the nose. It is medium body with similar profile from the nose. Classic acidity structures with a toasty yet deliciously creamy finish.

One of the best value Margaret River Chardonnays out there. Michael Kerrigan is doing an amazing job producing Chardonnays of elegance. Hay Shed Hill has delicate grapefruit and stone fruit flavours on the palate. And these flavours are matched with fine, minerally acidity with suble oak towards the finish.
