Maison de la Villette Cabernet Franc

La Villette is an old district of Paris where the main food and wine market supplying the city used to be located. It was a very animated area where Parisians used to get together in some famous bistros reputed for their fresh food and good wines. This medium bodied Vin de France red has all of the requisite red fruited and floral fragrance "cab franc" is renowned for. The red fruit flavours are succulent and juicy. Rêverie Rosé

This well balanced 100% Grenache wine is beauty in a glass. Paying homage to the South of France and benefitting from a Mediterranean climate, the resulting wine shows a translucent salmon pink colour with a watery hue followed by elegant red fruit with aromas of raspberry on the nose. A concentrated impression paired nicely with all things summer. Rêverie wines come from a land full of history. It is produced in the Southern French Languedoc-Roussillon, along the Mediterranean coastline. This region benefits from the Mediterranean climate, with the northern mountains of the Pyrenees embrace the vineyards of the Pays dOc like an amphitheatre. The coastline borders the region in the South and boasting views of beaches and vast expanses of vineyards with windswept soils. The landscape is made up of steep slopes, hilly peaks, vineyards, vegetation and the sea. The regions humidity and cool temperatures are partnered with hot dry summers allowing the vineyards to produce perfect maturity in the grapes packed with fruity aromas. Thanks to a heritage of over 2000 years of winemaking traditions and an integration of climates, reliefs and soils, this region is home to a diversity of extraordinary wines. It is the patchwork of wine growing areas in Pays dOc that creates an expression of these grape varieties that are unique. This allows us to produce a versatile range of wines reflective of the region.
