Entirely sourced from Tyrrell's famous HVD vineyard. These dry grown blocks were planted in 1984 and 2003 and together they produce a modern style that has both richness and finesse.

For nearly a decade, Shaun and Liz have been producing award winning wines for a number of the Hunter Valley’s most successful brands. The 2013 vintage marked the first of Silkman Wines, since then they have received numerous awards, most notably in the 2016 James Halliday Wine Companion where they were awarded 5 Stars as well as being named among the 10 Best New Wineries in Australia.Their Chardonnay is long and elegant with notes of citrus and creamy mouthfeel delivering a wine with great persistence and body.

In the glass: Vibrant pale yellow. On the nose: Ripe melon fruit and vanillin oak. On the palate: Shows clean stonefruit intensity with pineapple and tropical depth, lovely oak harmony, creamy flavour balance, juicy acidity and a grapefruit-like cut on the finish.

Lovely bright expression of old-vine Hunter Valley Chardonnay. Whole bunch pressed, taking only free run and light solids into concrete and large format French oak. Cirtus, cashews and creaminess from partial malolactic fermentation. Margan's white wines are some of the Hunter's best and their Chardonnay is right up there.

From a historic vineyard on the banks of the Hunter River, widely regarded as the birthplace of Hunter Valley wine. The 2021 lures you in with spicy pineapple, peach and green mango aromas. A melding of tangy lemon and cashew nut flavours fill the palate, with crisp acidity giving a refreshing finish. Richness without high alcohol. Lifted nose of citrus and nectarine with slight hints of hazelnut. Classic nectarine & citrus carry onto the palate with bright fruit intensity balanced by natural acidity and length. Delicate hints of lifted hazelnut notes are delivered by 9 months in puncheons & barriques; this is a fine & elegantly structured Chardonnay.

The Usher Tinkler Reserve Chardonnay was produced from grapes grown on the "Fence Block" vineyard in the Hunter Valley, planted by the Tinkler family in 1981. The vineyard is sustainably farmed, and the grapes all harvested by hand before being basket pressed and barrel fermented. After fermentation the wine was then barrel aged for 5-6 months. This Chardonnay is robust with flavours of ripe melon and lemon characteristics, with a hint of French oak and complexity.

Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay is sourced from fruit grown on the winery's rich Terra Rossa soil. This helps produce a Chardonnay that is rich and mouth filling with creamy, buttery flavours. Having being left of lees for a minimum of 12 month and going through 100% Malo fermentation, this Hunter Valley Chardonnay is one for those who love an 'old-school' Chardonnay.

The Stockhausen Chardonnay was created by Briar Ridge in a style paying homage to the pioneers of the Hunter Valley around 40 years ago. It is rich and creamy with ripe peach and tropical notes.
