Woodlands were one of the 'first wave' of wineries to set up in the Margaret River in the early 1970s and today that heritage is in the capable hands of Andrew and Stuart Watson, sons of the pioneering David. The Margaret Cabernet Merlot displays aromas of rosemary, leather and spice winding through blackberry and blackcurrant fruit. The palate is a reflection of the nose, and is bolstered by eucalypt, bay leaf and cranberry flavours.

Fruit tannin and bold flavours of mulberries and wet slate. A focused core of fine textures and glazed cherries culminates in a mineral and persistent finish.

Deep ruby in colour with an opaque core. The nose shows classic Cabernet aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and bay leaf, with hints of cedar and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and finely structured, delivering ripe cassis and spice flavours framed by firm tannins and a long, elegant finish.

Moss Wood are not know for their Pinot Noir, however this is a fine a unique expression of region and variety. A fruit bomb of rich and integrated flavours of cherry, spice, charry oak and silky finesse on the finish. The flavours pop and linger in the mouth long after the wine has left it.

Representing the pinnacle of any given vintage, the Deep Woods Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from the very low yielding original vines on the estate in the Yallingup region of Margaret River and a single growers vineyard in the Yallingup hills. The palate is layered with complex and generous varietal flavours, supported by interwoven French oak characters and a savoury complexity. This is an exceptional Cabernet that will age gracefully will careful cellaring.

Deep Woods most vaunted red earned its place in the Langtons Classification in 2018 (7th Edition) after displaying consistent quality and demand for the required minimum ten vintages. Lifted cassis and tobacco aromas with some fine oak in the background make this wine very appealing. A medium to full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with sage notes, and fine, long tannins from both the fruit and oak on the palate. Lovely acidity and a cedar finish describe a Cabernet Sauvignon that will age for many years.

Margaret River is a world renowned Chardonnay producing region and Pierro can rightfully stake a claim as to why. Incredibly complex, it is a tangle of fine-boned acid, lees complexity, pristine fruit and the most detailed use of good quality oak. Extremely enjoyable now, but will benefit from short to medium term cellaring.
