Langton's Classification: Excellent

Deep Woods most vaunted red earned its place in the Langtons Classification in 2018 (7th Edition) after displaying consistent quality and demand for the required minimum ten vintages. It is one of those wines at the tip of the Margaret River spear - demonstrating the brilliance that continues to come from that corner of Cabernet Country. ...imbued with power and elegance, pure fruit definition, fine-grained tannins and integrated savoury oak. Classification VII (2018) Deep Woods Estates sustainable and minimal-intervention farming and new trellising systems to optimise exposure have brought the vineyard into the big time. Vinification on skins (12 to 22 days depending on the season) is followed by 16 to 22 months maturation in new (40%) and seasoned French oak barrels. An emerging classic. Shop All Deep Woods >

Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Shiraz

Langton's Classification: Outstanding

This iconic label by Yalumba has a proud history from it's first release in 1962. Quite possibly the quintessential Australian Shiraz Cabernet blend, 'The Sig' shows vibrant Barossa aromas of dark fruit and spice and a concentrated palate that is long and deeply flavoured. With the ability to age wonderfully well, The Signature is a deserving part of any wine aficionado's collection.

Houghton Gladstones Cabernet Sauvignon

Houghton Gladstones Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful example of well established wineries in the Western Australian wine scene with access to some amazing vineyards sites within the Margaret River. On show here are marvelous aromas and flavours of bay leaf, black tea and some spicy mocha notes. Excitingly dense on palate with harmonious oak balance and impressive acidity. A brilliant wine.

Greenock Creek Cabernet Sauvignon

Producing only genuinely Estate wines, Greenock Creek is the lifelong labour of Michael & Annabelle Waugh. These wines are typically full of intense Barossan power, often paired with the heat to boot. Yields are, as Andrew Caillard puts it, impossibly low - leading to both concentration of flavour and a cultish following. Explore the Museum

Barmah Park Pinot Noir

Immerse yourself in the cool-climate elegance of Barmah Park Pinot Noir 2019, a 750mL treasure from the Mornington Peninsula’s boutique Barmah Park Vineyard in Moorooduc. Sourced from estate-grown Pinot Noir vines (MV6 and G5V15 clones) planted on sandy, windswept soils, this 2019 vintage reflects the region’s maritime influence with a vibrant, savoury profile. Fermented with indigenous yeast and aged in French oak, it presents a ruby hue with complex aromas of leaf litter, earth, mushroom, and cured meats, wrapped around a core of blood plum. The generous palate offers dark fruits, black tea, leather, and spice, culminating in a long, layered, savoury finish. A perfect companion to slow-roasted shanks or grilled lamb, this Pinot Noir embodies Barmah Park’s passion for community and seasonality, as seen in their acclaimed restaurant and cellar door. A collector’s gem with 5 plus years of cellaring potential, crafted under the guidance of winemaker Ewan Campbell.

Cullen Cabernet Merlot

Cullen, world famous for their Diana Madeline Cabernet Merlot, have introduced another Cab Merlot, a distinguished offshoot of the Langton's classified Diana Madeline. Majority Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Merlot and touch of Petit Verdot gives the wine a luscious, bright cherry flavour with red berries playing their part. Aged in French oak, 40% of which was new, for one year. Delicious to serve with veal, lamb or beef today, but will also reward up to 10 years in the cellar.

Flametree SRS Cabernet Sauvignon

S.R.S. stands for Sub Regional Series. Carefully selected individual grape varieties that excel within a certain sub-region. These wines represent the very best varietal wines under the Flametree label and will only be made in the best vintages, volumes will be small and availability very limited. Exceptional in quality, complexity and finesse. It shows all the perfume and structure that make Wilyabrup Cabernet Sauvignon wines so famous. Lifted blackberries, mulberry, plums, earth and dark chocolate dominate the nose and palate at this early stage. Whilst showing plenty of inky dark fruits, violets and bitter chocolate. The palate also displays wonderful fruit and oak tannin, the result of 16 months oak maturation.
