FINISH Cooked apples and pears with waves of all spice, dark chocolate and barbecue smoke. Kilchoman's Loch Gorm Release: Named after a famously dark and peaty loch overlooked by the distillery, Loch Gorm is a sherry cask single malt matured exclusively in oloroso casks, extracting the rich spicy character of the European oak as it ages in Kilchoman's Islay warehouses. Loch Gorm is Islay's biggest freshwater loch with an abundance of wildlife and dark peat coloured waters. The Allt Gleann Osamail burn, from which Kilchoman collect their production water, is one of the loch's major tributaries. Loch Gorm is exclusively matured in oloroso sherry casks from the renowned bodega, Jose Miguel Martin. It is common for distilleries to use a variety of sherry producers but for Kilchoman's consistent quality and character, it is vital that they source them all from just one bodega. Kilchoman select a combination of sherry butts and hogsheads from Jose Miguel Matin that provide two separate styles of maturation. These ex-oloroso sherry casks impart a combination of heavy sherry notes, spicy dark chocolate, rich fruits and burnt sugar. This balances beautifully with the Kilchoman peat smoke and citrus fruits found within the farm crafted spirit.

Kilchoman Machir Bay Strength
Kings County Straight Bourbon
Tasting note: [Batch 133A] Made from New York State organic corn and malted barley from the U.K. Bright topaz / polished copper. Delicate woody aromas of balsa, fresh cut cedar and hints of liquorice before the sugars come to the fore as banana bread, light sticky date, caramel fudge and vanilla. A peppery edge balances the sweeter notes. Youthful and chewy but already delicious with well rounded flavours of salted caramel, nut chocolate, popcorn and black peppercorns. The finish adds dried banana, peach and late caramel fudge. At just over two years young, this Bourbon already has impressive structure and feel. 45% Alc./Vol.

Bakery Hill Peated Malt Strength
An incorrect image is shown (not cask strength). Our Peated Single Malt, delivered straight from the cask is our “biggest” and most awarded whisky in our range. In fact it is one of the biggest Australian whiskies available today. The malted barley is “peated” in northern Scotland and exhibits a more “Highland” style peat, which produces an “earthier” rounded peat smoke with minimal “medicinal/iodine” notes. If you are looking for the ultimate flavour experience that you will continue tasting long after the glass is dry, this whisky is for you Tasting Notes: Nose: A rich subdued peat aroma combined with a natural leathery earthiness with overtones of kumquat and fruit mince tart. Sweet but not sickly. Palate: The palate reveals a tobacco leaf earthiness with layer upon layer of complex smoky peat that lingers on the lips and palette demanding just one more sip. Finish: Astonishingly long and complex, an exotic mix of experiences.
