The early morning sun crept over his brew pot, caught in the majesty of the moment he was inspired to name his brew 'El Sol' - the sun in Mexican. Since that day Sol has been a beer for the working class, a beer of the people.

Artfully brewed to sit between traditional American and Australian pale ales, Colonial's master brewers searched the world for the perfect combination of hops, blending USA favourites with Australias hop heroes to create the perfect pale. The result is a tropical-tinged treat that's a glowing golden in colour, with subtle hints of passionfruit, pine and spicy botanics. Smooth and approachable but packed with aromatic hops, Colonial Pale Ale is brewed to linger on the palette, not overpower it.

Birra Menabrea Lager is brewed using light barley malts and maize, for a light, crisp Lager style. Around 100 thousand hectolitres of beer are produced annually, part of which for export in twenty countries.
