Built on the site of an older illicit distillery Mortlach was the first legal distillery in Dufftown which is the epicentre on Speyside. Mortlach is again making its mark as a single malt with last years Diageo Special Release bottling selling out in record time. Distilled in 1999 and matured in ex Pedro Ximenez Sherry & Oloroso Sherry seasoned casks for no less than 21 years. Bottled at 56.9% abv and non-chill filtered. NOSE Rounded with dried dark fruits and rich sherry like notes, citrus peels, pancakes and salted butter, meaty with light savoury notes. PALATE Smooth and silky texture, dried fruits, savoury with chilli spice and dark fruits. FINISH Fruity and savoury notes, drying and rich.

Clase Azul Reposado is an ultra-premium reposado tequila made with Tequilana Weber Blue Agave that is slow cooked in traditional stone ovens for a minimum of 72 hours. Once the agave reaches a deep, rich flavor, it is fermented with proprietary yeast prior to distillation. Once the tequila is distilled, it is aged for 8 months in hand-selected oak barrels. This process results in a superb, smooth taste which exceeds expectations with each sip. Dark dense amber. The nose is of dried figs, hazelnut, orange candy and prunes. The aromatics continue with cocoa, vanilla cream and smokey oak from over four decades in small oak. The palate is endlessly complex. Chocolate truffles, hazelnut, prune, almond and cigarbox tobacco. The 40 Year Old Grand Reserve continues to linger long after first sipped.

Johnnie Walker King George V was created to celebrate the Royal Warrant given in 1934 to the Walker family to mark the exceptional qualities of their whiskies. The King George has more restraint and sophistication courtesy of the Port Ellen Distillery component that is powerful, slow and resonant. It initially shows a profound smoky aroma followed by sweet, fresh fruit (apples, pears, bananas) malt characteristics; developing into rich dried fruit and spicy complexity, raisins, figs and cinnamon. The palate is smooth with a rich, fruity sweetness. Warming with subtle flavours of sandalwood and smoke. Taste is powerful, complex, rich yet smooth. A mouth warming and lingering rich peaty finish.

The 12 Year Old Special Reserve is sweet, yet full bodied Kentucky Straight Bourbon which is well crafted and balanced beautifully. On the nose is Butterscotch and Demerara sugar followed by gentle spices, cinnamon, charcoal , coffee and honey on the palate and a long lingering finish full of caramel. This Bourbon can be enjoyed after dinner, much like a good cognac.

Old Rip Van Winkle 13 Year Old Family Reserve Rye displays refined maturity with toasty oak, black pepper and spices on the nose followed by sweet and spicy body full of caramel, prunes and oak.

Hibiki 17 Year Old Whisky is produced with a combination of grain whisky and premium malts from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, which are often aged in very rare Japanese oak. This whisky is elegant and poised, slowly revealing a clear yet complex equilibrium. The bottle itself is a thing of beauty, with 24 faces, reflecting each of the seasons of the old Japanese Lunar calendar.

This Thomas H Handy Rye Whiskey has a powerful, lush and boldly spice notes. It has flavours of toffee, fig cake, and candied fruit, followed by mint, cinnamon and clove on the nose. The finish ultimately reveals subtle notes of allspice, coconut and nutmeg. Long and warm.

Featuring ginger cake, orange fondant, caramelised pear and brandy snaps on the nose with fresh ground coffee, chocolate ganache and cinnamon apple on the palate. Initially matured in American white oak, this limited 21 Year Old edition 2015 release is transferred into first-fill Matusalem oloroso sherry butts. The Dalmore whisky spends a decade in these exceptional casks for an outstanding finish with Oxford marmalade, macerate cherries and soft liquorice.
