Featuring ginger cake, orange fondant, caramelised pear and brandy snaps on the nose with fresh ground coffee, chocolate ganache and cinnamon apple on the palate. Initially matured in American white oak, this limited 21 Year Old edition 2015 release is transferred into first-fill Matusalem oloroso sherry butts. The Dalmore whisky spends a decade in these exceptional casks for an outstanding finish with Oxford marmalade, macerate cherries and soft liquorice.

You get a lush toffee sweetness taste mixed with dark chocolate with hints of vanilla and to end these tastes you can taste underlying notes of dates, tobacco, dark berries and a hint of coffee.

Built on the site of an older illicit distillery Mortlach was the first legal distillery in Dufftown which is the epicentre on Speyside. Distilled in 1999 and matured in ex Pedro Ximenez Sherry & Oloroso Sherry seasoned casks for no less than 21 years. Bottled at 56.9% abv and non-chill filtered. NOSE Rounded with dried dark fruits and rich sherry like notes, citrus peels, pancakes and salted butter, meaty with light savoury notes. PALATE Smooth and silky texture, dried fruits, savoury with chilli spice and dark fruits. FINISH Fruity and savoury notes, drying and rich.

Johnnie Walker King George V was created to celebrate the Royal Warrant given in 1934 to the Walker family to mark the exceptional qualities of their whiskies. The King George has more restraint and sophistication courtesy of the Port Ellen Distillery component that is powerful, slow and resonant. It initially shows a profound smoky aroma followed by sweet, fresh fruit (apples, pears, bananas) malt characteristics; developing into rich dried fruit and spicy complexity, raisins, figs and cinnamon. The palate is smooth with a rich, fruity sweetness. Warming with subtle flavours of sandalwood and smoke. Taste is powerful, complex, rich yet smooth. A mouth warming and lingering rich peaty finish.
