In 1898, John Duff built the Speyside Distillery, BenRiach. It is one of the few distilleries with its own on-site floor malting and draws its water from the Burnside Springs. A richly sumptuous single malt, interwoven with mellow smoke and a masterful curation of oak. Crafted from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit and four cask matured for at least twenty five years in sherry casks, bourbon barrels, virgin oak casks and Madeira Island wine casks. During long maturation Benriach’s sweet Speyside smoke mellows and integrates with the fruit, malt and oak. After twenty-five years, rich layering develops into caramelised smoke, further enhanced through multi-layered cask maturation. The whisky from each cask type, imbued with particular flavour characteristics, is then expertly married together to create a sumptuous single malt, layered with baked fruit, honey malt and toasted oak spice with a long, rich, caramelised smoke finish. All in perfect balance.

Gran Patron Burdeos offers brown spirit oficionados an unparalleled tequila experience. Aged in oak wood barrels for at least 12 months before being distilled again then racked in hand selected Bordeaux barrels from the finest chateaux of Bordeaux. Presented in a crystal bottle with a custom-made corkscrew and crystal stopper. Smooth and sweet with great body. Noticable oak wood, very light agave, vanilla and raisins.

You get a lush toffee sweetness taste mixed with dark chocolate with hints of vanilla and to end these tastes you can taste underlying notes of dates, tobacco, dark berries and a hint of coffee.

Johnnie Walker King George V was created to celebrate the Royal Warrant given in 1934 to the Walker family to mark the exceptional qualities of their whiskies. The King George has more restraint and sophistication courtesy of the Port Ellen Distillery component that is powerful, slow and resonant. It initially shows a profound smoky aroma followed by sweet, fresh fruit (apples, pears, bananas) malt characteristics; developing into rich dried fruit and spicy complexity, raisins, figs and cinnamon. The palate is smooth with a rich, fruity sweetness. Warming with subtle flavours of sandalwood and smoke. Taste is powerful, complex, rich yet smooth. Dark dense amber. The nose is of dried figs, hazelnut, orange candy and prunes. The aromatics continue with cocoa, vanilla cream and smokey oak from over four decades in small oak. The palate is endlessly complex. Chocolate truffles, hazelnut, prune, almond and cigarbox tobacco. The 40 Year Old Grand Reserve continues to linger long after first sipped.

Clase Azul Reposado is an ultra-premium reposado tequila made with Tequilana Weber Blue Agave that is slow cooked in traditional stone ovens for a minimum of 72 hours. Once the agave reaches a deep, rich flavor, it is fermented with proprietary yeast prior to distillation. Once the tequila is distilled, it is aged for 8 months in hand-selected oak barrels. This process results in a superb, smooth taste which exceeds expectations with each sip. The first impression is of rich, dried fruits, and beneath this fresh-baked buttered scones, perhaps spread with lime marmalade. Soon this becomes lightly savoury and meaty but retains a slight citric note. A drop of water modifies the latter and reduces the aroma. BODY Medium to full. PALATE At natural strength, mild for its strength and super-smooth in texture, while the wonderfully rich mouth-filling taste is immediately sweet overall with dried fruits, then intense and savoury with a surprising kick of chilli pepper as it goes down. Magnificently feral and delicious. Drying overall, with rich tannins. Similar with a dash of water, which raises a little more sweet, spiced fruit. FINISH Seemingly endless and deeply impressive, with the fruit and savoury notes in perfect agreement and a warming glow spreading across the palate. Finally leaving the palate dry, yet still wreathed in a glorious rich afterglow.

This Thomas H Handy Rye Whiskey has a powerful, lush and boldly spice notes. It has flavours of toffee, fig cake, and candied fruit, followed by mint, cinnamon and clove on the nose. The finish ultimately reveals subtle notes of allspice, coconut and nutmeg. Long and warm.
