The full-bodied palate is packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, cassis and mocha flavours. A blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, this attractive white from Leeuwin Estate shows concentrated tropical fruit characters, such as honeydew melons, pineapples and fresh lime along with aromatic floral notes of Jasmine, frangipani with hints of warm spices on the nose. Once & Wells Chardonnay comes from grapes grown in both the warmer and cooler areas of the Margaret River region, mixing tropical and citrus characteristics to produce a distinctive and well-balanced wine. The Chardonnays nose is vibrant, rich and enticing with tropical fruits such as lychee and pineapple, citrus, some spice, nougat and hints of jasmine. The palate is light and refreshing with a mealy mid-palate and elegant finish. A touch of vanilla and spicy oak gives this Chardonnay a refined note.
