Carruades de Lafite Pauillac

Chateau Lafite Rothschild’s celebrated second wine, Carruades de Lafite is named from plots acquired in 1845 just next to the vines on the Château hilltop and the final blend contains both declassified first growth fruit as well as a higher percentage of Merlot than the first wine, anywhere from 30-50 percent depending on the vintage. As a result, you get the elegance and persistence of Lafite but also a suppleness making it approachable when young but always with enough structure to warrant at least a decade of cellaring.

Chateau Grand Puy Ducasse

Replantings and an upgrade of the winery and cellars, has resulted in the gradual recognition of this oft-overlooked wine producer. The upgrades have helped fine tune wines that are produced from potentially stunning fruit, sourced from a vineyard that sits on gravel between Batailley, Lafite-Rothschild and Mouton-Rothschild in Pauillac. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot spends time in mostly older wood and is known for its juiciness, fleshy texture and ability to be drunk at a relatively young age.

Château Valandraud Red AOC Saint Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classé

The Château Valandraud Red AOC Saint Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classé 2018 is an exquisite Bordeaux blend that showcases the finest of the region's terroir. With a deep ruby color and a luscious nose filled with aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries, and hints of vanilla, this wine immediately captivates the senses. On the palate, it is well-structured with silky tannins and a perfect balance of fruit and oak. As the wine opens up, it reveals layers of complexity, with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco, and a touch of spice. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a pleasant, velvety sensation on the tongue. This vintage is a true representation of the Château Valandraud's commitment to producing exceptional wines with a distinct character. Enjoy it now, or cellar it for further aging. Either way, it is a true testament to the quality of Bordeaux wines.

Chateau l'Evangile

Chateau Angelus 1er grand cru classe

Chateau Angélus is one of the most renowned estates of St-Emilion, currently designated Premier Grand Cru Classé A in the most recent classification of St-Emilion. Located due west of the town of St-Emilion, the estates vineyards lie on a warm south-facing slope. The Grand Vin is a dense and unctuous blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, matured in 85-100% new French oak barriques for 18-22 months. Complex and concentrated, Chateau Angélus can appear slightly austere when young, developing greater generosity and richness with age.

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou St-Julien

Reputed to be the leading star of the ''Super Seconds'' of Bordeuax, Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou is set over 50 hectares of vineyards in the south of St-Julien. The wine is composed from predominately Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with lesser influence from Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot and spends around 18 months in half new and half seasoned oak barriques. The 2010 vintage has conspired to produce what could arguably called one of the greatest releases of this wine, resplendent with fine, firm tannin, subtle oak, quiet power and a capacity to cellar for another half century.
