Whilst the name implies a white colouration, the unexpected rosa or pinkness of the wine is the result of a fortunate variant within the variety. As such, the adoption of the name, Muscat Rose à Petits Grains better describes the wine colour. Fragrant, fresh and low in alcohol, this wine is a wonderfully light alternative to champagne that can be enjoyed any time of the day or year.

The Castello Del Poggio Moscato is a delightful example of this popular style. Turkish delight sherbet and apricot on the nose and a zesty palate with grapey lemon sorbet flavours finishing fresh and crisp. Simply delicious!

In the glass: Pale pink. On the nose: Musk, nectarine, peach and white grapes. On the nose: Plump, soft and full of fruit with a sweet mix of stonefruit, guava and grapes, a gentle balancing spritz and lovely texture adding to its charm. A very well made Moscato and true to style.
