The Lane Vineyard John Crighton Single Vineyard Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon
The spice of cool climate shiraz is the dominant impression. It makes for an interesting/different expression of this blend. Violets, black pepper, blackcurrant and blackberry, with the polish of smoky oak. Not quite harmonious, but generally impressive nonetheless.
Jacob's Creek Barossa Signature Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon
One of the classic blend we could called our own, Jacob's Creek's range understood the importance of getting the symmetry of the Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon blend correct. Showcasing rich dark fruits and spices from both varietal with hints of cedar oak and smooth tannins towards finishing. Ideal for a simple steak meal or as a companion to hard Australian Cheeses.
Finniss River Block Reserve Shiraz Cabernet
Deep in colour, the nose is vanilla, redcurrant, prune and smokiness that carries through the palate, complementing the black fruits, cranberries and black plums and rounded out by balanced tannins.
