Elderton Ashmead Single Vineyard Cabernet
Like the Command block, which is an amazing resource to the Elderton Estate, the Ashmead block has consistently produced small parcels of excellent quality fruit. The vineyard was almost destroyed in 1997 to make way for higher yielding vines, however the family made the decision to promote the vineyard to a higher destiny thus the Ashmead.
Wynns Coonawarra Estate Childs Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Another string to their 'Single Vineyard' bow, Wynns reinvested in the Child's vineyard in 2009 - elevating the fruit there from its traditional supporting role in other premium releases (including John Riddoch and Black Label) to having a dedicated bottling of its own. See Chief Winemaker Sue Hodder speak about the spectacular 2015 release:
RESERVE DE LA COMTESSE Second wine of Chateau Pichon-Longueville Lalande
Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon, Coal River Valley Tasmania
Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon, which also includes a small percentage of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot is a foil to the more opulent mainland styles. Violets, roses and blackcurrants pervade through the wine like an English country garden. The tannins are especially fine grained and there is a beautiful freshness and mineral quality on the palate. The parcels of fruit are batch vinified in stainless steel tanks before maturation in 100% new oak for between two and three years.
Hickinbotham Clarendon Vineyard Trueman Cabernet Sauvignon
His upland vineyard raises fruit of rare elegance without losing any of its perfumed intensity. Lithe tannins underlie a strap of lively blackberry, and perfect amounts of sinew, flesh and bright acidity guarantee a highly rewarding decade or two.

Blue Rock Wines 'The Christopher' Shiraz/ Cabernet
The Christopher This wine is a selection of the two finest barrels of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon in the winery for each vintage. It is dedicated to a young aspiring winemaker who had the potential to become one of the Barossas best. A blend of the two varieties that the region is most famous for and the two that Chris enjoyed working with the most. The wine is full bodied with a long seamless structure and balanced tannins. The rich dark fruit flavours of ripe Plum and Blackcurrants coat the palate. Aged for 24 months in new French oak to add spice and complexity to a wine that will last the ages.Rest in Peace our beautiful Christopher (1991-2018)
Henskens Rankin Vintage Brut
Crafted from tiny parcels of Chardonnay (70%) and Pinot Noir (30%) from Tasmania's Piper's River, Coal River Valley and Tasman Peninsula this fine beaded bubbly spent six years on yeast lees. It was well worth the wait, being notably elegant, harmonious and fresh with pretty white florals, nougat, citrus zest and a long, dry savoury mineral finish.
Grant Burge Nebu Barossa Cabernet Shiraz
Strong Cabernet traits of black coffee, dark mint chocolate and earthy notes, whilst the Barossa Shiraz shines through the glass with aromas of plum, dark cherry and spice. Vibrant and complex, the Cabernet notes continue on the palate, whilst the thick and luxurious Shiraz provides lovely dark cherry and spice with a smook as cream finish.
