Domaine Faiveley DOMAINE FAIVELEY, Grand Cru
Domaine Vaiveley, Clos de Vougeot This exceptional Grand Cru wine comes off a 1.287 ha parcel of the famous 50.12 ha walled “Clos de Vougeot” vineyard in the commune of Vougeot. This vineyard dates back to 1336 when the Monks of Cîteaux created the Clos. The vineyard has an east to south-easterly aspect with shallow soils. Grapes are hand harvested and undergo a short pre-fermentation maceration before being fermented in large wooden vats. After three week fermentation, the wine is gently pressed using a vertical press before being matured in up to 70% fine-grained new French oak barrels for 16-18 months. 'Faiveley is one of the best and most consistent sources of fine Burgundy and one which should continue to set the standards for both negociants and growers .'- The Great Domaines of Burgundy

Joseph Faiveley Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru
The 2022 Joseph Faiveley Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru from Domaine Faiveley is a stunning example of Burgundian winemaking. On the nose, there are enticing aromas of ripe red berries, black cherries, and a hint of earthy truffle. The wine's deep ruby color is a testament to its intensity and complexity. On the palate, this Grand Cru reveals layers of rich flavors, including sweet red fruits, spiced plum, and a touch of oak. The tannins are velvety and well-integrated, providing a smooth and elegant mouthfeel. The finish is long and lingering, leaving notes of bittersweet chocolate and a touch of smoke. This wine is a true representation of the terroir of Burgundy and a testament to the skill of Domaine Faiveley. It is best enjoyed with a hearty meal, such as beef bourguignon, and will continue to develop beautifully over the next decade.
Armand de Brignac Brut Gold
Armand de Brignac Champagne, colloquially known as the Ace of Spades, is well known for it's striking bottle design, references in pop culture and its unquestionable quality. Brut Gold is the flagship cuvýe of the range and the first style ever produced under the label. Its unmistakable gold-plated bottles are decorated at a single site in France's Cognac region and are fitted with pewter labels hand-applied to the surface of the bottle. The wine itself is marvelously complex and full-bodied, the bouquet is both fresh and lively, with light floral notes. On the palate, a racy fruit character perfectly integrated with the wine's subtle brioche accents.
Guigal La Turque Côte Rôtie
The 2001 La Turque is a vineyard-designated wine from a parcel inside the lieu-dit Côte Brune. It is a blend of 93% Syrah and 7% Vigonier. Meaty and rich, laced with Asian spice, espresso, blackberries, and cherry. An earthy, powerful, tannic wine with a long, heady, rich finish. Give it at lease 2-5 years in the cellar, and drink before 2040. One of the finest wines in Dan Murphy's Cellar Release Range.
Guigal La Mouline Côte Rôtie
Guigal are one of the cornerstones of the Côte Rôtie appellation after Etienne Guigal founded the estate in 1946, tending vines that have produced world class wines for over 2,000 years. The 2005 Côte Rôtie is a blend of 89% Syrah and 11% Viognier is a truly remarkable wine from vintage that was considered difficult by many. That is impossible to tell when enjoying a bottle of this 100 Robert Parker pointed Côte Rôtie that is voluptuous and complex. Still tightly wound and a little shy, the 2005 will age easily for 20+ years which should be considered mandatory.
