Labegorce is found just north of the town of Margaux, opposite Chateau Lascombes. It produces wines that are often favourably compared to its neighbouring classified Margaux Growths, but available for considerably less of an investment. Its instantly recognisable and iconic chateau was constructed in 1821, and the modern estate was purchased by Hubert Perrodo in 1989, now managed by his daughter Nathalie. The wine is typically made up of at least 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by slightly less Merlot and a small balance of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Soils here are primarily sandy gravel with small amounts of limestone.

A unique wine from the 36 years old, low yielding bush vines of the Cape Mentelle's original Estate Vineyard. This Zinfandel exudes flavours of plum pudding, black cherry and sweet spices on a rich, mouth filling palate. Hand picked, basket pressed and matured in the finest oak it is. Woodlands Cabernet Merlot is one of the regions best examples. The Watson brothers are the custodians of a family heritage in Margaret River that continues to this day. The Cabernet Merlot has attractive and complex aromas of dark berry and plum supported by well integrated vanillin oak. LTCf stands for 'little touch of cabernet franc'. This classic Bordeaux blend has plenty of rich and concentrated flavours with fine tannins.

Lifted blackberries, mulberry, plums, earth and dark chocolate dominate the nose and palate at this early stage. Whilst showing plenty of inky dark fruits, violets and bitter chocolate. The palate also displays wonderful fruit and oak tannin, the result of 16 months oak maturation.

Sandalford Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is simply put, a sensational wine! Complex on the nose with violets, tomato leaf, cigar box and spice, it is beautifully structured on the palate, with rich fleshy fruit filling out the tannin backbone.

Langton's Classified Excellent WIN an Exceptional wine cellar* worth more than $10k Limestone Ridge Shiraz-Cabernet is an opulent loose-knit style with intense fresh blackberry/ raspberry/ meaty aromas, voluminous fruit, fine ripe chocolaty tannins, underlying savoury/ malt oak. The vineyard, named after the limestone cap that passes just below the surface, is planted to around 18 hectares of Shiraz and six hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon on unusually shallow terra rossa soils over limestone. After vinification in stainless steel fermenters, the wine is matured in a combination of new and seasoned American and French hogsheads.
