In the glass: Dark red with a slight brick hue. On the nose: Aromatic lift of cassis and dark berry fruit, mint and cedar with leathery development adding character. On the palate: Dense and plush though not heavy, with chocolate, mocha and dark fruit power. Still vibrant and intense yet rich and complex with layers of sweet friut, earth, herb and toasty oak - a lovely example of aged Cabernet!

There is also a shot of old school glossy tri-coloured boiled sweets character to this most complex Coonawarra Cabernet. Two years in oak has allowed a meshing of some spice and cedar oak maturation to complex.
