Hentley Farm focuses on producing elegant and complex single-estate and single-block wines reflective of their exceptional piece of Barossan terrior. 'The Marl' takes its name from the fruit grown on red clay loam over marl (a friable earthy deposit consisting of clay and limestone) which reduces the water and nutrient availability producing low crops and rich flavours. With a strong aromatic profile, this straight varietal Grenache punches well above it's weight delivering stunning amounts of blackcurrants and raspberry and a hint of spice on the palate with a soft and balanced finish.

Hero of Zero Preservative Free Grenache
Classic Grenache red fruited flavours of bright cherry and raspberry with stone minerals and subtle cedar oak spice. Delightfully fresh and fragrant with soft roiund tannins and a lovely long finish.
Organic Hill South Australian Preservative Free Cabernet Sauvignon
Ruby red in colour with lifted aromas of eucalypt and blackberries. The medium to full-bodied palate exudes a lovely early note of caramel balanced with delicious blackberry undertones bound together by fine, velvety tannins. Perfect with Lamb Roast, shanks, ragu or chops. No preservatives to this wine to produce a young, fresh and vibrant red to be consumed in its youth.

A cool moderate summer with consistent flavour development . The season produced rich flavours and ripe tannins. Distinctive Margaret River regional Cabernet Sauvignon aromas, with rich dark fruit flavours. Soft fruit tannins on the finish. Beef casserole or dukkah crusted lamb cutlets. A delicious wine to drink young for its primary fruit charcaters. The wine will gain complexity and smoothness with cellaring 5 to 8 years.
