The third release of Nebu. Rich dark purple, almost ink, with a bright and deep purple hue. There is no holding back on the palate, with rich and powerful fruit. Lots of dark red fruits dominating the middle palate, with notes of chocolate layered in the background. This Barossa Valley beauty shows depth and concentration, yet remains silky and inviting. Dark fruits flood the palate, finishing with a smooth smoky cedar note. Elegant and structured, it’s drinking beautifully now but will continue to reward with a little more time in the cellar.

Round 2 Cabernet Sauvignon

Cassis, black currant, licorice, mint and earthy tones. Ripe dark fruit flavours dominate the palate. Fine even tannin profile offers structural support and maintains length

Crossover Barossa Cabernet Shiraz

The grapes were crushed and de-stemmed into fermenters. The winemaker pumped the fermenters twice a day to maximise colour, tannin and flavour extraction. Yeast was added and after crushing was put into a mix of French and American oak to mature for 12 months. Leafy varietal aroma is balanced by ripe plum, licorice and subtle eucalyptus characters on the nose. Beautiful dark fruits and soft tannins dominate the palate. Maturation in French oak gives spices and cedar characters. The wine has a good acidity and structure with a long persistence on the finish.
