Laughing Jack Greenock Shiraz
Laughing Jack Greenock Shiraz is sourced from vineyards exclusively in the Greenock sub-region of the Barossa Valley. Located in the Valley's western edge, Greenock imparts warm, plush fruit characters with a dark chocolate and leather backbone. The Laughing Jack shows all of these qualities in abundance, especially the dark chocolate aspect with real concentration of flavour. A very powerful wine.
Lone Palm Vineyard "Hillside" Shiraz
Lone Palm Vineyard established in 1992, located at South of Marananga, the heart of Barossa Valley. A vineyard of many different sites and a lone palm tree standing next to the settlers cottage built in the late 1800s from where the name originates. Hillside block has opulent sunshine, enough precipitation and rich soil. Using hand pick, high-quality French oak and traditional winemaking to produce dark, fruity, full-bodied premium Shiraz. The 2017 Lone Palm Hillside Shiraz was sourced from one of our best West facing hillside block, located at South of Marananga, the heart of Barossa. The wine was aged in French and American oak for at least 18 months. Dark ruby colored, the nose reveals rich dark fruit, blood plumbs, blackberry, and blueberry with dark chocolate, mineral and licorice. Full-bodied and elegant, the wine offers layers of deep flavors, outstanding depth, and a long, smooth finish. The wine will comfortably cellar for the next 12-15 years.
Torbreck Woodcutter's Shiraz
Torbreck's Woodcutter's Shiraz is produced from hand-tended low-yielding vines. Bold and hearty it shows ripe sweet fruit flavours with supple tannins. Has quickly become a firm favourite of all the full-bodied Barossa red wine lovers out there.
Lou Miranda Fierce III Shiraz
Elderton Shiraz
Elderton is one of Australia's great Shiraz producers, year in and year out. Brimming with ripe juicy blood-plum and chocolate flavours, this is almost like Black Forest cake in a bottle!
First Drop Mothers Milk Shiraz
Based at their Home of the Brave winery in the Barossa, First Drop describe their wine-making philosophy as a sensibility for tradition with a passion for innovation. This Shiraz is garnet red with purple hues. Complex nose of dark cherry and blackberry aromas with a hint of forest floor and spice.
Chris Ringland Shiraz
Chris Ringland Shiraz 2005 represents an outstanding expression from the vineyard. The vine is powerful, voluptuous and ripe, yet the tannins are plush and mature, with moderate acidity. This vintage will have great longevity potential.
Château Tanunda The Château Single Vineyard Shiraz
Established in 1890, Château Tanunda sits upon the site that saw the first plantings in the Barossa Valley, back in the 1840's. The grand château itself is a heritage icon and has recently been restored to it former glory. 'The Château' Shiraz is sourced solely from the Vine Vale vineyard and after picking spent 10 days on its own skins to extract colour, flavour and tannin. 18 months in a mixture of old and new French and American barriques and hogheads has produced a wine of opulence and serious concentration while still retaining balance and elegance.
