This American Oak Aged Whiskey Distilled from a Rye Mash is at least two years old. Mostly rye grain and a touch of barley, this rye is a spicy summer rye and makes some great cocktails. A good bitter, or a splash of vermouth or ginger beer goes a long way.

Matured in barrels that previously held Islay whisky, then blended with ex-bourbon barrels left to mature under the hot Tel Aviv sun. The result is a delicate, rather mellow and lightly peated whisky. Non Chill Filtered. Classified Kosher.

"Good, honest, rock solid Bourbon" - Jim Murray An unusual find in Australia, this is a sourced bourbon using whiskeys from Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana assembled in Brooklyn in five barrel batches which means each release will present a slightly different flavour profile. It's named for its water source which comes from the "Widow Jane Limestone Mine" in Rosendale, New York, prized for being even richer in minerals than the pure waters of Kentucky. Tasting notes: [Barrel not specified] Deep copper. Nosing after air contact yields drier-styled notes of dark rye bread, white pepper, light vanilla and dustings of milk chocolate. Well integrated, minty rye enters before vanillan oak. Applemint and hints of iced tea through the drying finish. An elegant, light and refreshing style with impressive length. 45.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Ex-red wine barrels that were sourced from Israel's finest wineries were picked for this edition in M & H's 'Elements' trilogy. A ginger-like keynote gives definite warmth to the opening sniffs, leading into a dryish, malty nose with vanilla and fruit sweetness developing. It's more winey in the mouth, where a gentle astringency adds a grippy tactile dimension in tandem with the spices. A malty - red berry thread surfaces, giving a juicy dried berry-like character to the finish. There's hints of dried coconut too, followed by lingering wood spices. Non Chill Filtered. What started in the early part of the 20th century as an effort by a handful of enthusiastic entrepreneurs has evolved into a prosperous corporation with international recognition. In 1950, Chivas Brothers began the search for a secure supply of exceptional malt whisky. Strathisla Distillery in Keith, the oldest and most beautiful distillery in the Highlands, was the obvious choice. From that day to this, the world-famous Strathisla Single Malt Scotch whisky became the foundation of the Chivas blend. The international reputation of Chivas Regal has been built upon this distillery and the skill of successive generations of Master Blenders. Legally, a blended Scotch whisky must contain both single malt Scotch whiskies and single grain Scotch whiskies. Chivas Regal 12 and 18 year old whiskies are blended using a special process called triple blending. First of all, the selected single malts are blended together. The second stage sees the selected single grains blended together, and then thirdly, the vatted malts and the vatted grains are brought together. These spirits are each married in selected oak casks for an extended period of maturation in order to produce an exceptionally smooth, rich whisky. Colin hand-picks each whisky designated for Chivas Regal 18 Year Old from the distilleries most precious stock - including certain whiskies that are now exceedingly rare. Winner of three major awards, each bottle of Chivas Regal 18 Year Old bears its own unique serial number, sourcing it back to the one particular triple blending. And because only selected casks are matured to such a great age, the quantity of Chivas 18 Year Old produced every year is always strictly limited. Tasting notes: Brassy gold appearance. Bubblegum / marshmallow opening is a little bourbonesque. Second pass reveals vanilla and biscuity malt with a judicious slather of peat. The palate combines a silky mouthfeel with solid concentration - nothing like the comparatively beige 12 Year Old - delicate spices, biscuity, honeyed grains with hints of dried fruits. The finish is crisp with a lingering confectionary note. 40% Alc./Vol.

FarmStock Rye Crop No. 003 is the third release of the limited edition annual Triple Terroir Whiskey - created from the distillery's own rye grain, distilled and proofed with the distillery's own water, and aged in custom Vermont White oak. Crop No. 003 is the first ever majority WhistlePig Whiskey. Comprised of 52% of 3-year-old Rye whiskey, blended with 31% 6-year-aged whiskey and 17% 10 year aged whiskey from Alberta, Canada. Sweet and aromatic, with Vanilla, Maraschino, roasted chestnuts and hints of cigar box. Oak, toffee and baking spices on the palate followed by soft notes of Creme Brulee and rose petals. Warm and lasting with a pleasant Rye spice.

A fabulous Rye Mash spirit from the Widow Jane folks over in Brooklyn! The spirit is placed in casks which were previously used to age Widow Jane 10 Year Old bourbon, though new oak and apple wood staves have been added as well. A fabulously balanced blend of spice and fruity sweetness. Citrus peel and tangy tropical fruit leads into cinnamon, cut grass and apple blossom, with peppery oak, baked apples, brown sugar and homemade jam.

Kavalan have launched a new expression matured in three different Sherry casks, namely oloroso, Pedro Ximénez (PX) and Moscatel casks. Senior Blender, Zerose Yang adds, “Its main character, the dried fruits of the oloroso cask, are embellished with the sweetness of PX and Moscatel casks... The resulting liquid offers notes of cinnamon, candied smoked plum, and citrus, layered with a nose of berry, tropical fruits, and longan, alongside a dash of honey, chocolate, and toffee on the palate." For those who are used to the distillery's extravagant cask strength expressions, this takes a step back. The nose presents an attractive array of dried fruits and plummy malt, mingling with sweet spices. It's an accessible, middle weight style, with a convincing sherry lick and an appropriate dash of spice. You can't really fault the balance, but in the context of what this distillery is best known for, it's Kavalan light. 40% Alc./Vol.
