Berry rich and intense formed with oaks. Richly fruited and immediately appealing with blackberry, sweet cherry, rich floral and spicy oak characters on the nose, followed by a wonderfully weighty palate offering richness with supple texture and fine tannins. It is a wonderfully round, complex wine that has all the hallmarks of a classic Australian Red. Winemaker’S Note: From our nothern block in Wrattonbully. Aged in predominantly older oak to ensure the richness of fruit is preserved and minimal tannin is absorbed. Vintage Note: A warm October and November advanced budburst andflowering by about two weeks earlier than average.March then saw more stable and mild conditionswhich allowed for a slower finish to the season andensured enough time for tannins to ripen and flavourto develop.
