Hungerford Hill Hilltops Pinot Grigio

Hungerford Hill is a heriatge NSW winery, supporting growers from the Hilltops region. The Pinot Grigio style is a light to medium bodied, often lean wine that is light in colour with bright flavours that are crunchy, crisp and fresh. The dark skinned berries are hand picked to produce an aromatic and refreshing white wine, redolent of nashi pear and red apple; the palate is delicately textured and bright.

SAKURA ORGANIC PICPOUL BLANC

Iron House Vineyards Riesling -

Iron House Vineyards- 2018 Riesling - Riesling, a pendulum varietal if you will, presents delicious and refreshing apple, apricot and pear notes whilst maintaining the wonderful minerality acidity associated with the classic style very much in the hearts of wine lovers. A medium length pleasing acidity that is not overwhelming at all, yet somehow more enhancing to this wine that balances delicate nectarines, fresh grapes and robustness dryness in harmony. Bringing all the terrific Tasmanian notes of southern white Rieslings to the table, this wine is to dine for.

Black Duck Durif

Sam Trimboli LOVES Durif. He calls it a “stunning little powerhouse grape that develops astounding complexity”. The numberplate on his car even sports the word ‘Durif’, that’s how highly he rates it. The grapes for this wine come from a small vineyard that Sam helped establish in the 1980s and is now at peak maturity.

Caravan Sauvignon Blanc

John Quarisa, aka Johnny Q, is a terrific winemaker, creating wines that, like him, can be lively and highly charged. In his Caravan wine series, he likes to think of a grape that changes in style as it travels. So that here, Sauvignon Blanc grown in his Riverina vineyards produces a wine still with loads of grassy fresh zip, but along the way, has developed more tropical fruit flavours too. That is peach, pineapple and passionfruit! He insists on night harvested grapes to ensure lots of bright fresh flavours and cool ferments them for the same reason. This wine previously won a Gold medal and we think the 2021 vintage is tasting just as good – it's a fridge-door-must! Chill down and enjoy as a glass on its own or with spicy Thai dishes.

Lost Farm Tasmania Chardonnay

Richard Angove was very lucky to have grown up in a winemaking family. Since 1886, five generations of his family have worked in winemaking and grape growing. In 2008 he worked harvest in the beautiful Tamar Valley in northern Tasmania. He just loved the landscape, vineyards and flavours of the wines. Many years later when the opportunity arose to work with a number of small growers to create a range of small batch wines, he could not resist the opportunity, and so Lost Farm Wines was born.

Devil's Corner Chardonnay

Devil's Corner Chardonnay shows some up-front ripe stone fruit, citrus characters and hint of subtle spiciness. It shows excellent flavour intensity with great persistence and a refreshing finish.
