And here you have it in pure form. The fruit comes from a single Shiraz block in the heart of Langhorne Creek – the Lake Doctor Vineyard on the shores of Lake Alexandrina. On hot summer afternoons the cooling breeze of the ‘Lake Doctor’ arrives and revives vines and vignerons alike.

Lifted aromas of red currants and blackberry accompanied by succulent red and dark berry flavours. The finish is long and with classic merlot fine grain tannins from 18 months maturation in French Oak. Sisters Run is an independently owned and operated winery with a fierce commitment to make the best wines from family vineyards. Made by Corrina Wright, a sixth generation member of the Oliver family, this is McLaren Vale Shiraz to the extreme. There's bold chocolate and blackberry flavours, a hint of pepper and smokey overtones.
