Shiraz and viognier are well acquainted with one another - the blend is common amongst the red wines of the northern Rhone. While the shiraz provides the fullness and the fruit, the viognier offers elegance and lift. Here ripe cherries, raspberries, and blackberries jump out of the glass, accented by a swirl of red flowers and sweet spice. This is cool climate shiraz done really well - a thin and persistent acid line persists through the finish giving lift and freshness to the juicy fruit. Crunchy, vibrant and utterly gluggable.
